Office Assistant

We are Professional Organizers based in Chantilly, VA, and we are looking for a full time, M-F, 9a-5p Office Assistant. We are a small company, so we are unable to offer benefits at this time, but we will pay between $10 and $15 per hour.

We need applicants to have:

  • Access to reliable transportation since there isn’t convenient public transportation
  • Ability to climb stairs as this location is not ADA accessible
  • Good communication skills (reading, writing and spoken/telephone) in English
  • Some familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, Powerpoint)
  • The ability to work with little or no supervision, self motivated with attention to detail
  • Client confidentiality is very important, so you need to be able to keep secrets
  • Experience in customer service is a plus

Duties will include:

  • Answering and making phone calls
  • Contact management
  • Scheduling appointments and keeping calendars updated
  • Handling emails
  • Scanning and filing Paperwork
  • Video editing
  • Social Networking
  • Occasional research
  • Writing articles and editing other people’s writing

Experience is not necessary. We will gladly train the right person.
