Just a quick post this week. Last week we were at the Prince William County Chamber of Commerce’s New Member Showcase. There were a large number of new members there, many of them new small businesses. I’m not sure what it says about the economy that there are so many folks starting businesses. I definitely wish them success. Even more surprising to me, though, was the small handful of empty tables with business names on them. These were tables reserved for new members who had RSVP’d that they were coming. It was such a great event to meet other business people and discuss how your businesses could help each other that I don’t understand not showing up for it.
