Organization for Individuals

Initial Consultation: We will come to your home and look at the things that are bothering you. We will discuss the possible solutions and make specific recommendations. We will provide you with a write up of our conversation and the actions we discussed.

Hourly Assistance: Once we have had the consultation many of our clients find that they want our assistance in order to see results more quickly. Sometimes they realize that unless they know someone is coming they won’t do the work. You can hire us on an hourly basis to come and work with you hands-on. We can come with a single organizer or if you have a short timeline we can bring in an entire team.

Vacation Service: This service is for someone that doesn’t want to have to stop their mail and paper when they go on vacation. We can make your home look more lived in while you are gone as well as take care of minor issues for you. We come in, deal with the mail and paper, turn on some lights and turn off others, check all levels to make sure there are no leaks, etc. When there has been a storm we will also check the outside of the home to ensure there has been no damage to the roof etc. If there have been any problems we use a credit card or checkbook you leave for us to make the repairs. We leave you an itemized list of what we did each day and we attach any receipts for services we needed to contract for you. This way, you can be on vacation and not have to worry about what is happening at home.

Holiday Service: We can help you pack up your decorations, etc. when the Holiday is over. We will make it easier for you to decorate next year since everything will be put away neatly and in an organized fashion.

Testimonial from a client:

It took me over 4 years to decide that there was no way that I would get the storage room in my basement straightened out.  Every time I would go downstairs and look in there, I felt overwhelmed, shook my head, shut the door and said “I don’t think so”. Then Maria entered my “organizational life”.

This storage room was about 26X30 feet in size.  It had STUFF…oh my goodness it had stuff.  For starters, there were 6 book cases with stuff that was not books.  There were boxes of books, cleaning supplies, suitcases, baby stuff, kids toys (my youngest is 27) clothes…well as you can see, the list goes on and on and on.

Maria built storage shelves in the storage room.  She moved the book cases into the finished room and we sorted.  She was very respectful about what I wanted (needed) to keep.  She never made me feel hopeless or foolish for holding some things that are precious to me (my grandmother’s wedding punch bowl that I haven’t used in 15 years comes to mind…she would have sold it  but understood that I couldn’t) even if I haven’t used them in the recent past.

In two days, my storage room is neat, clean, tidy and organized…I can actually FIND what is in there quickly and easily.  The finished room is more like I had envisioned it with the bookcases, books etc. in there, chairs by the fireplace etc.  Even better, I seem to have found inspiration along the way and have been slowly working on my garage, doing tasks around the house I haven’t been motivated to do in forever etc.  She removed 3 loads of “trash” and another 3 of donations.  Without her, I would still be shaking my head and saying “I don’t think so”.  If I run out of motivation, I will not hesitate to ask her to come back.
